About The Options Report
The easiest way to find the day's top options activity.
Our Mission
The Options Report was built for one simple reason: finding the day's top gaining options contracts shouldn't require hunting across multiple financial platforms. Unlike traditional finance websites that bury options data deep inside their interfaces, we put it right in front of you.
Every trading day you can instantly see the top gaining contracts, the most active contracts by volume, and the contracts with the highest open interest — all on one clean page.
Who It's For
This website is built for anyone who loves trading options — whether you're a complete beginner looking to understand what's moving in the market, or an experienced trader who wants a fast way to spot the day's most active contracts.
The Story
The Options Report started as a solo project. As someone who trades options, I noticed how difficult it was to find a platform with a clear, easy-to-understand Top Gainers options table. So I started posting the day's top gaining contracts on X, and it grew into the website you're looking at today.
The Data
This website is completely free to use. Options data refreshes every 15 minutes throughout the trading day.

Risk Warning
Options trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose the entire amount you invest in an options contract, and in some cases you can lose more than your initial investment. Options trading may result in the loss of all or a substantial portion of an investor's investment within a relatively short period of time.
Before trading options you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk tolerance. You should only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about using The Options Report.
The Options Report is a free website that shows you the day's top gaining options contracts, the most active contracts by volume, and the contracts with the highest open interest — all in one clean dashboard. Unlike traditional finance platforms that bury options data deep in their interface, we put it right in front of you.
No. The Options Report is an informational website only. Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should always do your own research and consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any trading decisions.
Options data on The Options Report updates every 15 minutes throughout the trading day. This is delayed data, not real-time. For a free platform this gives you a very current picture of market activity without the high costs of real-time data feeds.
Our options data is provided by a third party market data provider that sources it directly from the major options exchanges. While we do our best to ensure accuracy, you should always verify data with your broker before making any trades.
Yes, The Options Report is completely free to use. There are no paywalls, no subscription fees, and no account required. Our goal is to make useful options data accessible to everyone.
A contract is "in the money" when it has intrinsic value based on the current stock price. A call is in the money when the stock price is above the strike price. A put is in the money when the stock price is below the strike price. On our options chain page, in-the-money contracts are highlighted in green with a divider bar showing where the boundary is.
For more detailed definitions check out our Glossary.
Click any ticker on the main dashboard, or search for a ticker in the top search bar to view its full options chain. The chain is organized by expiration date, with each date in its own collapsible section sorted from soonest to furthest away.
Use the Calls and Puts buttons at the top to switch between contract types. In-the-money contracts are highlighted in green, and each row shows you the strike price, current price, bid, ask, volume, open interest, and Greeks for that specific contract.
Volume is the total number of contracts that have traded today. It resets at the start of each trading day.
Open interest is the total number of contracts currently held by traders that have not been closed or exercised yet. Unlike volume, open interest builds up over time and tells you how many contracts are outstanding.
High volume with low open interest often signals new trader interest. High open interest with lower volume often signals existing positions.
Some contracts show a dash ("--") instead of actual Greek values. This is normal and happens for a few reasons: contracts very deep in the money or far out of the money often don't have Greeks calculated because they become less meaningful. Contracts with very low trading activity may also not have Greeks because there isn't enough market data to derive them. You'll see the same thing on other platforms like Webull and Thinkorswim.
No. The Options Report is an informational website only. We do not execute trades. To actually trade options you would need to use a licensed brokerage like Robinhood, Webull, Fidelity, Schwab, or E*TRADE.
The Top Gainers table applies a quality filter to keep the data meaningful. Contracts are only included if they have a Price greater than $0 and at least 10 Volume or 10 Open Interest.
This filter exists because tiny illiquid contracts can show extreme percentage gains that don't reflect real market activity. For example, a contract priced at $0.01 yesterday that's worth $0.05 today would show a 400% gain, but with only one or two trades behind it, that number is misleading.
The Most Active and Highest Open Interest tables don't apply this filter because their sort criteria (high volume and high open interest) naturally surface only the most actively traded contracts.
The Options Report is run by a solo founder and we love hearing from users. You can reach out via X at @theoptionsrep or by email at chilloa17@gmail.com. Feedback, questions, and feature ideas are all welcome.
